European prices for the ultra-budget Samsung Galaxy A16 smartphone appeared before the official announcement

We have already written that the appearance of the Samsung Galaxy A16 smartphone appeared even before its official premiere. And thanks to the work of a team of interns from the Saminsider website, who have explored the database of an unnamed European seller, we can now find out the price of the new device.

Here's What We Know

Samsung Galaxy A16 will be available in 4G or 5G versions, depending on the market. It will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 or Exynos 1330 processor (Versus rates them about the same, but gives a slight advantage to the Exynos processor). It is expected that the smartphone will have a minimum configuration of 128 GB of storage and (this is an assumption) versions with 4, 6 and 8 GB of RAM. We can also expect a version with 256 GB of storage.

In the minimum configuration, the Samsung Galaxy A16 (SM-A165F) - the one with the 4G version - will cost €209.9 excluding taxes. The 5G version of the Samsung Galaxy A16 (A166B) will start at 239.9 euros (to which taxes must be added).

According to the leaks, the smartphone will have a U-shaped display, a flat-edged body and a triple main camera. It will come with a 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED screen at 90Hz, a 5000 mAh battery with an 18W or 25W charger. Galaxy A16 will be sold in three colours: Black, Light Green and Gray. Its official world premiere is expected in early October 2024.
