OnePlus and BOE have teamed up again to create a new BOE X2 display for the OnePlus 13. The head of OnePlus China, Li Jie Louis, revealed on Weibo that the company has completed outdoor light testing of the display.

Here's What We Know

The BOE X2 is a four-sided micro-curved display that visually looks almost flat, but offers an improved user experience. The image posted by Li Jie Lui shows that the display has a centre camera hole and very thin bezels.

The display is expected to have a diagonal of around 6.82 inches and a 2K resolution. It will be the successor to the BOE X1 display used in the OnePlus 12, which had a brightness of up to 4,500 nits and a P1 chip. The new display promises improved specs, but specific details are not mentioned.

The OnePlus 13 is scheduled for release in October and will be one of the first smartphones to feature the new flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 or Snapdragon 8 Elite processor.
