Arizona, US-based technology company Fasetto has announced that its Audio Cu sound technology has become the world's first powerline audio solution to achieve Dolby Atmos certification.

Here's What We Know

This technology allows home audio systems to work without the need to run wires from audio receivers to each speaker, and it doesn't require the internet as with Wi-Fi audio streaming and the sound is higher quality and not compressed as with Bluetooth audio.

Audio Cu delivers high-quality sound with minimal latency and can transmit up to 10 channels of audio per audio system, supporting configurations from 2.0 to 9.1, including Dolby Atmos up to 7.1.2. The Audio Cu receiver can also handle up to 32 different channels shared between different systems in the same environment.

In addition, the technology is able to detect noise and interference on the line, optimising signal transmission. Audio Cu is compatible with a variety of speakers and can be easily integrated into existing audio systems. The use of this technology helps in reducing the carbon footprint as it does not require any additional wiring.
