Yesterday, we reported that the KNDS defence concern had opened a subsidiary in Ukraine to repair Leopard tanks, PzH 2000 artillery units and Gepard SPAAG anti-aircraft guns. The British company BAE Systems came to the same decision.

Here's What We Know

General Director of the Ukrainian division of BAE Systems Christian Seear said that in the near future several enterprises will be launched in Ukraine, which will be engaged in repair and maintenance of M777 artillery systems. And in the future it is planned to establish its own production of these howitzers.

At the moment BAE Systems is studying production bases in Ukraine, where workshops can be set up, but it is noted that co-operation with one of the enterprises has already started.

Christian Sear said that he has big plans for the future and hopes that cooperation between BAE Systems and Ukrainian companies will continue after the end of the war.
