SenseRobot introduces SenseRobot Chess, a new robotic chess trainer with a 2900 ELO rating designed to help children improve their chess tactics on real boards.

Here's What We Know

The device allows users to choose from 25 levels of difficulty.

In the first game, the robot easily defeated the famous grandmaster Hou Yifan, whose rating is 2633. SenseRobot Chess automatically registers players using face recognition. It uses a 3D camera to identify chess pieces. Thanks to the three-legged mechanism, the robot quickly moves the pieces on the board, which significantly saves time during the game.

The robot also offers verbal feedback during matches, providing children with insight into tactics and strategy, which helps them learn faster. SenseRobot Chess is able to connect to Lichess, which allows you to play with players from all over the world, as well as record and share all games for further analysis.

SenseRobot Chess is available on JD.com for 4799 yuan (about $680). For those unable to import it from China, there are alternatives in the form of AI-powered conversational chess boards.
