Sony has unveiled the first Bluetooth speaker in its LinkBuds series.

Here's What We Know

The model is called LinkBuds Portable Wireless Speaker and is available in two colours.

The speaker lasts up to 25 hours without charging and features an X-Balanced tweeter and bass driver. When a second similar speaker is connected, they sync up and provide stereo sound and are customisable via the Sound Connect app.

The LinkBuds Portable Wireless Speaker comes with a charging station that turns it into a wired speaker.

The gadget has been certified to IPX4 standards, which means it is waterproof.

The Sony LinkBuds Portable Wireless Speaker is available now and is priced at $179.
