The design schematics of the new Xiaomi 15 Ultra flagship, which will be unveiled early next year, have surfaced on the internet.
Here's What We Know
As the image below shows, there will be a massive camera on the back of the device, including a 200-megapixel telephoto lens on top and a main module with a 1-inch sensor seen down the centre. The main camera will feature a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-900 sensor with optical image stabilisation (OIS). The ultra-wide and telephoto lenses are also expected to remain unchanged, utilising 50-megapixel Sony IMX858 sensors. On the front, the device will have a flat screen with a hole for the front camera.
The device is expected to have a 2K display with micro-curvature on all four sides and an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner. The Xiaomi 15 Ultra will be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 or Snapdragon 8 Elite processor and will feature up to 24GB of RAM. The battery capacity will be 6200 mAh and the operating system will be HyperOS 2.0 based on Android 15. The Xiaomi 15 Ultra will be available in three finishes: leather, fibreglass and ceramic.
