According to the latest rumours, Apple is planning to release the new iPhone SE 4 in early 2025. The device is expected to receive significant upgrades over previous models.

According to sources, the iPhone SE 4, which has been codenamed "V59", is likely to feature an A18 processor and 8GB of RAM, which will provide high performance to support the new Apple Intelligence features expected in this model. The design of the device will be reminiscent of the iPhone 14, with the abandonment of the home button and thick bezels. Instead, the smartphone will get a notch screen, but without the Dynamic Island feature.

The iPhone SE 4 is also expected to have a single rear camera and aluminium bezels. The device will be equipped with Face ID instead of Touch ID and will get a USB-C port instead of Lightning. It is expected that the cost of the novelty will range from $499 to $549. Thus, Apple aims to compete with budget Android smartphones, especially in the Chinese market.
