Google may release Pixel 9a in March 2025

Google is preparing to launch the Pixel 9a mid-range smartphone, which, according to preliminary data, will appear in March 2025.

This will be the fastest release in the history of the Pixel series. In August 2024, the company already presented the Pixel 9, although previously, new models were usually released in October.

According to sources, the Pixel 9a will be available for pre-order in mid-March. Leaks and prototypes of the new model appeared earlier than usual.

The mid-range Pixel series had different release dates. For example, the Pixel 3a was released in May 2019, while the Pixel 4a was delayed until August due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Pixel 6a was released in July 2022, and the Pixel 7a returned to the traditional schedule at Google I/O 2023.

The Pixel 10a is also likely to be released in March 2026.
