"Price killer": Realme is prepping the GT Neo 7 with an overclocked Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip and an additional dedicated chip to improve graphics performance
It is reported that Realme is planning to launch two new smartphones in the Chinese market this year and both smartphones will be from the GT 7 series.
Here's What We Know
The first one, the Realme GT 7 Pro, will feature the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chip and is expected in November. The second smartphone, the Realme GT Neo 7, is also gearing up for launch and is expected by the end of the year.
According to insider Smart Pikachu, the GT Neo 7 will get a flat 1.5K resolution display, an overclocked Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, possibly with an additional chip for improved gaming performance. The smartphone will also reportedly support 100W fast charging. An insider calls the GT Neo 7 a "price killer" and expects it to be released at the end of the year.
According to Digital Chat Station, most Snapdragon 8 Gen 4-based smartphones will be more expensive, so users interested in performance for not a lot of money should look at flagships with previous generations of the flagship chips.
