Galaxy S24 FE receives first software update in Africa, Europe and India

Samsung has recently announced the Galaxy S24 FE, and it is already available for pre-order. Users who have already received their phones have noticed that their devices are receiving the first software update.

This update, firmware version S721BXXS2AXI5, is aimed at improving user security. It includes system patches for September 2024 and addresses several vulnerabilities in the original software. The update is currently available in Africa, Europe, and India.

How To Switch It On

Galaxy S24 FE users can check for the update via the Settings, Software Update, Download & Install menu.

The Galaxy S24 FE runs on One UI 6.1, which is based on Android 14. Samsung promises seven major updates for this model, which will ensure its relevance until 2030.

Here's What's New About It

Among the main advantages of the new smartphone are stronger glass, a brighter Dynamic AMOLED 2X screen with a maximum brightness level of 1900 nits, a more powerful Exynos 2400e processor, a 4700 mAh battery and Galaxy AI.

The Galaxy S24 FE can record 8K video at 30 frames per second, which improves the image quality.
