Google Photos launches new Ask Photos feature with Gemini for select users in the US

Google has announced Ask Photos, a feature that allows you to search for photos in your library using natural language.

Ask Photos is currently only available to some users in the US who have signed up for a waiting list. The feature, introduced in May, is powered by Gemini technology.

Ask Photos allows you to ask questions such as "What is my licence plate number?" or "Show me the best photo from every national park I've visited". This feature promises to make searching easier, as users can find photos, remember loved ones or details.

We look forward to the expanded launch, which will hopefully take place in the near future.
