The global version of the iQOO 13 5G has been spotted in the IMEI database and that means an announcement is imminent

The company iQOO is preparing for the launch of a new flagship smartphone iQOO 13 5G, which can be presented already at the end of October in China, and by the end of the year will be released in other countries.

The device is expected to be unveiled in India and other Southeast Asian countries by December. The global version of the device has the model number I2401, which was spotted recently in the IMEI database. The Chinese version of the smartphone will get the model number V2408.

According to rumours, the iQOO 13 will feature a 6.78-inch BOE Q1 screen with 2K resolution and 144Hz refresh rate. The smartphone will be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor, with up to 16GB RAM and a 6,100mAh battery that supports 120W fast charging and 50W wireless charging.

In China, the device could have up to 1TB of inbuilt storage, while the global version is likely to be limited to 512GB. The smartphone's main camera will have a triple camera with a 50 MP main sensor, the ultra-wide-angle and 2x telephoto lens will also have 50 MP resolution. An ultrasonic fingerprint scanner and IP68 water and dust resistance will also be supported.
