Josh Hutcherson assures that Five Nights at Freddy's sequel will be bigger and scarier than the first film
In the autumn of 2023, Five Nights at Freddy's premiered and became the most successful film ever made by Blumhouse. And the creation of a sequel was obvious, and now the first details have emerged.
Here's What We Know
Josh Hutcherson, who played FNAF in the first film, says that the sequel will be "much bigger" and "scarier". He also noted that there will be "more" and "different" animatronics in the film, and Freddy's universe will "really open up".
"Right now we're finding a balance between building that world and expanding it in a really cool way, but also making sure that the characters stay really grounded. That's something that I think we were all fighting for in the first film because the world that was created in Five Nights at Freddy's, it's so real," Hutcherson said.
When We Can Expect It
The sequel to Five Nights at Freddy's will be released in autumn 2025.
