NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang is "worth" more than Intel's entire company
In just one year, NVIDIA has almost tripled its market capitalisation and become one of the world's largest IT giants. This success of the American company was fuelled by the growing demand for AI and technologies for its development.
Here's What We Know
NVIDIA, unlike its competitors from Intel, has correctly prioritised, correctly identified the market demand and met it.
This has allowed NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang to become one of the richest people in the world with a net worth of $109 billion, more than the entire Intel Corporation, which is now worth $97 billion.
It's not just NVIDIA's successes that have led to this situation, but also the failures of Intel, which recently lost $24bn in market value in a single day, and last month it was revealed that AMD had beaten Intel in a bid to supply chips for the next-generation PlayStation 6 console, leaving its rival without a more than $30bn contract.
Interest in AI and chips for it is only growing, so there's no doubt that NVIDIA and its CEO Jensen Huang's revenues will only grow.
