Zepp has introduced an updated version of the Zepp app for Amazfit smartwatches. Version 9.0.0 is being rolled out to customers around the world following a successful beta test.

Here's What We Know

The main goal of the new design is to simplify the use of the app, as well as introduce new features for activity and nutrition tracking.

Users who took part in the beta testing positively evaluated the app's more modern interface. However, some noted that the heart rate data graphs were less accessible, making it harder to understand the information.

The new feature makes it easier to connect gadgets. The new activity tracking tool helps to assess the level of intensity of training, preventing possible overload.

The food logging feature allows users to upload photos of their meals and the app automatically detects what they have eaten.

Version 9.0.0 is currently available for iOS users in the US, UK and the Netherlands, while an update for Android is due in October.
