The Android 15 update introduces a new Home Controls lock screen that now displays the temperature and current weather conditions. This feature was introduced in Android 15 Beta 3 and allows you to quickly access your home controls from the lock screen.

Here's What We Know

The Home Controls screen works in full-screen mode, which can be quickly accessed from the Quick Settings menu or via a shortcut on the lock screen. At the top, you'll find categories for controlling cameras, climate, lighting, and Wi-Fi. Below that, you'll find your favourite settings for quick access.

The time is displayed in the top right corner, and Google has recently added temperature and weather conditions. This improvement is especially useful for Pixel Tablet users. Although the Home Controls screen is designed for Hub mode with a charging pad, it is also available on smartphones.

The weather update on the Home Controls screen is made possible by a change made on the server side. This follows the Dreams update for Pixel devices on Android 15, which was released two weeks ago.
