According to officials close to NATO, Ukraine's allies believe that President Volodymyr Zelenskyy can find a more flexible approach to ending the war.

The Ukrainian leader has publicly reaffirmed Kyiv's main demands for ending the war, including the complete withdrawal of Russian troops from the occupied territories and Ukraine's membership in NATO.
According to the agency's interlocutors, although the President of Ukraine continues to publicly insist on the invariability of the "peace formula", the approach of winter and weakening support from the West are forcing Kyiv to look for ways out of the situation.
"Ukrainian officials are ready to admit that (the war) is about to reach an endgame," the article says.
U.S. officials have asked Kyiv to formulate a roadmap of what it needs for the next year, including military equipment, industrial development assistance and financial support, according to an official familiar with the discussions.
Zelenskyy said he would reveal all the details of the plan after consultations with allies are completed.
