Ukrainian VR game Whispers of the Void, where we play as a space artefact hunter, got its first demo on Steam

A Ukrainian VR game already sounds like an interesting concept. And that's exactly what ByOwls is doing with Whispers of the Void, a game where players will travel the galaxy as treasure hunters. And now the studio has also released a demo on Steam.

Here's What We Know

The demo, released as part of Steam Next Fest, features the game's first mission and introduces players to most of Whispers of the Void's key gameplay mechanics.

Players start the game on a spaceship and have to make a warp jump to a distant desert planet. There, they will get acquainted with the game's dynamic combat system, which combines shooting and energy sword fencing, solve ancient puzzles, climb a mountain and face the game's first boss. The players will be accompanied on their adventures by a faithful companion, an alien frog.

In Whispers of the Void, you put on the suit of an artefact hunter - a representative of a rare profession, a daredevil exploring the most remote corners of space. During a routine mission to find an artefact commissioned by an old friend, you suddenly find yourself in the middle of a galactic conspiracy.
