Silent Hill 2 online peak of 23 thousand people on PC is the third best result for Konami and the second for Bloober Team

We wrote that the Silent Hill 2 remake gathered more than 23 thousand simultaneous players on Steam on the day of its release. How does this figure compare to other Konami and Bloober Team games?

For Konami, this is the third result in its history. Only METAL GEAR SOLID V: THE PHANTOM PAIN (91 thousand) and Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel (262 thousand).

As for Bloober Team, Silent Hill 2 online is the second best in the studio's history. Only Layers of Fear had more players playing at the same time (145 thousand).

Now it is interesting to see whether the remake of the cult horror will be able to set an even higher online figure. Unfortunately, it is impossible to find out the data on PlayStation 5, but we are sure that the figure is quite high there as well.
