Oppo has officially announced on its Weibo page that the Find X8 series of flagship smartphones will be launched on 24 October in China.

Here's What We Know

The series will include the Find X8, Find X8 Pro, Find X8 Pro Satellite Communication Version and Find X8 Ultra models. The latter model, equipped with Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, is expected in January 2025. The rest of the devices will be powered by the new Dimensity 9400 processor, built using TSMC's second-generation 3nm process technology.

The Find X8 Pro will feature four cameras, including two periscopic cameras, while the standard model will get three cameras with one periscopic camera. All models will support 50W magnetic wireless charging and will run on Android 15-based ColorOS 15. Support for a camera control button, as in the iPhone 16 series, and BeaconLink functionality for communication outside the cellular network are also expected.
