New seven-seater Volkswagen Tayron crossover makes its European debut

Volkswagen has presented the new Tayron SUV on the European market. This is a seven-seater premium car that is positioned above the Tiguan.

Here's What We Know

The Tayron is available with different types of engines: diesel, petrol, mild hybrid and two eHybrid versions that can travel up to 100 km on electricity.

The model is based on the MQB evo platform and has a wheelbase of approximately 4.8 metres.

The car is equipped with advanced technology, including a 12.6-inch screen, adaptive cruise control, brake assist and illuminated VW logos.

Options include IQ.LIGHT matrix headlights and wireless connectivity for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Tayron offers powerful hybrid versions up to 200 kW, as well as a diesel model with a towing capacity of up to 2.5 tonnes.
