Blizzard is creating a mobile version of the online shooter Overwatch

If you have a successful service game, you need to release it on as many platforms as possible. And that is why Blizzard plans to create a mobile Overwatch.

Journalist Jason Schreyer wrote about this in his book Play Nice: The Rise, Fall, and Future Of Blizzard Entertainment. The book does not say when the game will be released, but it is in active development. It is also not known whether it will be a port of the PC version or a new game.

In addition, Schreier's book revealed that plans for a TV series about Overwatch on Netflix were cancelled because Blizzard sued Netflix.
