Of course, in the centre of attention again was the iconic heroine Lara Croft, who in her own way gets into difficult situations, deftly deal with pursuers and perform spectacular acrobatic stunts.

The events of the series unfold after the finale of Shadow of the Tomb Raider, the 2018 action film that completed the last trilogy of games. In the new screen adaptation, Lara Croft will engage in the usual business: the search for ancient artifacts, the exploration of ancient tombs, temples and caves, she will face powerful enemies and, as always, will become the cause of large-scale destruction. But the hardest for the girl will be the struggle with her inner demons.

Lara Croft is voiced by actress Hayley Atwell, known for her role as Peggy Carter in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Critics were not very enthusiastic about Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft, the series received only 61 points on Metacritic. Experts appreciated only the visual component and quality animation, but were not satisfied with the boring plot, discontinuous narration and empty dialogues, which take a lot of time, but do not reveal anything.
