Xiaomi's sub-brand, Redmi, is gearing up to launch a new line-up of flagship K80 smartphones including the K80 and K80 Pro models. A well-known Digital Chat Station insider, who often reveals truthful information about smartphones and tablets, has revealed a few details about the older K80 Pro model.

Here's What We Know

According to the leak from Digital Chat Station, the K80 Pro will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, which is not surprising at all as the predecessor also received the current flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip. Also, according to him, the battery of the novelty will increase to 6000 mAh. This is a marked improvement over the previous K70 Pro model, which had a 5000 mAh battery.

The new battery has a high energy density, which allows you to store more power in a smaller space without noticeably increasing the size of the device. The K80 Pro should also support 100W fast charging and will feature wireless charging for the first time in the Redmi K series. There is no official confirmation of these specs yet, so there is no 100 per cent certainty about the veracity of this data yet. But if the informant is right, it will be a major improvement to the Redmi K lineup.
