Garmin announces updates for flagship Fenix 8, Enduro 3 and Fenix E models

Garmin is preparing to release a major software update for its flagship Fenix 8, Enduro 3, and Fenix E smartwatches.

The company recently released beta version 11.88, which contains three bug fixes, including for the notification function. The update also addresses issues that could cause the watch to suddenly turn off during HIIT workouts or indoor climbing.

This new release follows on from the previous beta update 11.87, which has already fixed over sixty bugs.

Garmin notes that the new beta version does not contain any changes to the GPS or touchscreen, but supports dive and ECG functions. This indicates that the company is preparing a new stable release.
