Richard Mille has partnered with McLaren to unveil the new RM 65-01 "McLaren W1 Edition" watch, priced at $373,000.

Here's What We Know

This watch, created in honour of the McLaren W1 hypercar, features the most complex automatic movement with 480 parts. The movement operates at a frequency of 5 Hz, which allows you to measure intervals with an accuracy of a tenth of a second. A special feature of the watch is the split-seconds function, which allows you to time two simultaneous events.

The watch has three buttons to operate the chronograph and a fourth "Jump Start" button that allows you to instantly wind the watch if it runs out of power. It requires 125 presses to fully wind the watch. The watch case is made of carbon fibre and titanium, making it durable and lightweight.

McLaren will produce 399 examples of the W1 hypercar, each priced at $2.6 million. Owners of the cars will have the opportunity to purchase a RM 65-01 watch with an engraved serial number matching the car's number. A total of 500 watches will be produced.
