Lara Croft has been an impressive success, with sales of the Tomb Raider franchise games exceeding 100 million copies!

Today Crystal Dynamics in collaboration with Aspyr Studios announced the Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered compilation, which will include three iconic games: The Last Revelation; Chronicles and The Angel of Darkness, but it turns out that this wasn't the only news for Lara Croft fans.

Crystal Dynamics announced that sales of all games in the Tomb Raider franchise have surpassed 100 million copies!

The first action-adventure game about the adventures of a British aristocrat was released in 1996 and since then the series has become an integral part of the gaming industry.

Currently in development is the next game of the franchise Tomb Raider, the publisher of which will be the company Amazon.

In addition, Amazon Prime Video recently announced that they have started production on a Tomb Raider series (title not finalised yet). And yesterday the animated series Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft premiered on Netflix streaming channel.
