Insider: One UI 7.0 is still under development, but it's already very smooth and has plenty of widgets
The other day a video of the One UI 7.0 system being tested appeared, where you can see the new interface design and some new features. The system has new app icons, redesigned quick access bar and improved animations. However, according to the latest reports, a lot may change by the time the stable version of the firmware is released.
Here's What We Know
Samsung is yet to release the beta version of One UI 7.0 as the company is yet to decide on several aspects. According to an Ice Universe insider, One UI 7.0 is still under development and some elements are still being modified.
The latest internal version of One UI 7.0 features a smoother experience, as well as tweaked system interfaces and app icons. Samsung has added more widgets, which, according to an insider, are superior in quality and quantity to those of other operating systems. However, details are yet to be disclosed.
The company has confirmed that it will open the One UI 7.0 beta programme by the end of this year so that developers and regular users can test it before releasing a stable version of the OS, which could be announced alongside the Galaxy S25 line of flagships.
