Media: several thousand North Korean soldiers are already in russia and are being trained for the war against Ukraine
According to information coming from the intelligence services of Ukraine and South Korea, DPRK dictator Kim Jong-Un has sent several thousand troops to Russia.
Here's What We Know
Recall, back in the summer of 2024, Kim Jong-un promised war criminal Putin support in the war that he unleashed in Ukraine. At first it was about engineering troops, which were supposed to help the occupiers to equip positions and "restore" the captured territories.
But now there are reports that several thousand North Korean soldiers are already in Russia and are undergoing training, after which they may either be sent to the front line or put on border guard to free the Russian troops and transfer them to the combat zone.
Analysts note that according to South Korean and Ukrainian officials, some of the DPRK soldiers are probably in the occupied part of Donetsk Region. Ukrainian soldiers do not confirm that they have seen Koreans on the front lines, but a recent AFU missile strike on the occupied Donetsk region did kill several high-ranking DPRK officers.
One wonders how North Korean propaganda explains to the people the necessity of sending their citizens to certain death, if even many Russian soldiers do not understand the purpose of the war. However, this is a rhetorical question, since totalitarian dictatorships do not feel the need to explain anything to their people.
