OnePlus 13 promises to be a significant upgrade over its predecessor OnePlus 12.

Here's What We Know

Recently published details on Weibo confirm that the OnePlus 13 will ditch the optical fingerprint sensor and use an ultrasonic one. This will make unlocking the phone faster and more secure.

The cost of the new product will also increase. For the version with 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage, users will pay 5299 yuan (about $900). For comparison, the OnePlus 12 with similar specifications cost 4799 yuan, but discounts on Amazon allow you to buy it for $749.99.

The OnePlus 13 will feature an updated BOE X2 display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Extreme Edition chipset, a 6000 mAh battery with 100W fast charging support, and a 50MP Sony LYT808 main camera.

The OnePlus 13 is scheduled to be announced this month in China, after which the phone will be introduced to the international market.
