Samsung Galaxy S23 gets October security patch in the US

Samsung has started updating its mobile devices to the latest security patch for October and it is currently available for the Galaxy S23 line of flagships.

The update, which can be identified by build number S91xUSQS4CXI4, contains a security patch dated October 2024 that addresses more than 30 vulnerabilities in Android and Samsung One UI. It is currently available for Galaxy S23 smartphones from the US on carrier-locked variants and will be available for unlocked models a little later.

In other regions, the new software for the Galaxy S23 series will be available in the coming days. This update is also expected soon for the Galaxy S23 FE model as well.
