This year, Apple is actively testing components and discussing manufacturing capacity and product quality with suppliers.
Industry sources confirm that Apple has made significant progress on the design of the new foldable device and the company is already in talks to begin mass production of the finished product. This indicates that the final design of the foldable iPhone could be finalised soon, allowing it to begin mass production in 2025.
