Dimensity 9400 chip, 5800 mAh battery and IP69 protection: Vivo X200 officially unveiled in China

After various rumours and leaks, Vivo has announced a new flagship smartphone X200, which is the base model of the X200 series.

The Vivo X200 features the latest flagship Dimensity 9400 processor and also supports up to 16GB of RAM, which can be doubled with virtual memory.

The smartphone has a 6.67-inch all-around curved display with Zeiss Natural Color technology for high colour accuracy and HDR10+ support. The display also offers high brightness up to 4,500 nits, improved durability and low power consumption.

The main camera of the Vivo X200 features a 50-megapixel Sony IMX921 sensor and Zeiss lens. The device also has a 50-megapixel telephoto lens and an ultra-wide-angle camera. The smartphone supports 4K video recording at 120fps.

The Vivo X200 has a 5800mAh battery that only supports 90W wired charging. The device is IP69 protected and has an autonomous connectivity of up to 1km without cellular network coverage.

The vivo X200 will be available in Sapphire Blue, Titanium Grey, Moonlight White and Carbon Black colours and in 12/256GB ($605), 12/512GB ($663), 16/512GB ($705) and 16/1TB ($776) storage configurations. The smartphone is available for pre-order from 14 October and actual sales will start on 19 October.

There is no information about the global launch of the model yet.
