Galaxy S23 FE gets a new update in select Asian countries

Following the flagship Galaxy S23 lineup, another S23 model has started to receive a new security update, only from the Fan Edition series.

The Exynos version of the Galaxy S23 FE smartphone has started updating to the October security patch in some Asian countries. The update has build number S711BXXS5DXI3 and fixes more than 30 Android and One UI vulnerabilities. The new software also fixes vulnerabilities in some Exynos chips, including the Exynos 2200, which powers the Galaxy S23 FE.

The update only improves the security of the device and doesn't bring any new features. The system functionality update is expected with the release of One UI 7.0, which Samsung is expected to release early next year.
