Insider: One UI 7.0 could be the best update in Samsung's history

Samsung originally planned to release the One UI 7.0 beta version of Android 15-based One UI 7.0 in late July 2024, but the beta release still hasn't arrived. According to well-known insider Ice Universe, this can only be for the best, as One UI 7.0 will be the most significant improvement in Samsung's history, especially in terms of system stability, smooth animations and transitions.

Here's What We Know

The Galaxy S25 is expected to ship with One UI 7.1, which will provide even better performance thanks to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor that the entire S25 lineup may get.

Ice Universe rated the smoothness of One UI 6 at 60 points, One UI 7 on the Galaxy S24 at 85 points, and on the Galaxy S25 at 92 points. The beta version of One UI 7.0 for the Galaxy S24 series will be available in some countries by the end of the year, with the stable version coming in early 2025. Samsung has also already started updating its smart TVs to One UI, which came as a surprise to users.
