Insta360 announces launch date for new Ace Pro 2 action camera on 22 October

Insta360 has officially announced the launch date of the new Ace Pro 2 action camera, which will be the successor to both the Ace and Ace Pro.

The presentation will take place on 22 October. The new camera is expected to compete with devices such as DJI Osmo Action 5 Pro and GoPro Hero 13 Black.

According to insider information, the Ace Pro 2 will have a 50MP camera with a 1/1.3-inch CMOS sensor, which will provide high image quality.

Insta360's teaser images also hint at the new device, which emphasises the number "2".

The camera will be aimed at those looking for premium features at an affordable price point, closer to the entry-level Ace than the more expensive Ace Pro.
