We wrote that Don't Nod was disappointed in the sales of Banishers and Jusant and that the studio is rethinking the work on future games. However, the situation inside the company is not getting better.

Here's What We Know

The studio is preparing for a reorganisation that may lead to the dismissal of 69 employees.

Also, the company's financial report for the first half of the year shows that there was an 11% year-on-year decline in operating income. According to the company, this decline is the result of the release of Banishers and Jusant, which did not sell as well as expected.

According to IGN, the company has already taken some restructuring measures to cut costs, including a "forced pause" in two unannounced projects. However, it may also lay off people.

The French union STJV has also accused the company of mismanagement, claiming that employees are facing burnout due to the current reorganisation and that communication, staff shortages, and shifting deadlines are putting the workforce at risk.

However, Lost Records: Bloom & Rage is still scheduled for release on 18 February 2025.

So for now, we can only speculate about what's in store for Don't Nod.
