Last week saw several major game releases that did well in the Japanese market. According to Famitsu, Metaphor: ReFantazio topped the charts: the PlayStation 5 version of the game took the first place, and the PlayStation 4 version was fourth.

Here's What We Know

The total number of units sold in Japan is more than 108 thousand, which is quite a good result for such a short period of time. However, despite having sold over a million units worldwide in the last six hours, the game still fell short of Atlus' recent hits Persona 3 Reload (116 thousand units) and Shin Megami Tensei 5 (143,000 thousand units).

Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO took second place, selling over 63 thousand copies in Japan and exceeding 3 million worldwide in the first 24 hours.

The Silent Hill remake debuted in third place with over 29 thousand copies sold - a worthy start for a series that had been dormant for a long time. In three days, it exceeded one million units worldwide.
