The authors of Silent Hill 2 announced Cronos: The New Dawn - a third-person sci-fi survival horror game about time travel

Cronos: The New Dawn is a third-person survival horror game where you will fight fierce battles with numerous enemies and unravel the mysteries of a tangled story about time travel.

The developers promise Eastern European brutality that coexists with retro-futuristic technology, immersing you in a fascinating story that stretches through the past and the future.

In the past, you'll find yourself in a world undergoing The Shift, a catastrophic event that has radically changed the fate of humanity. At the same time, in the devastated lands of the future, every second is a struggle for life with terrifying creatures that will test your speed of reaction and ability to think strategically.

You are a Traveller working for the mysterious Collective, and your task is to search the wastelands of the future for special time rifts that will bring you back to 1980s Poland.

Your mission is to find key people from the past who died during the apocalypse. With the help of the all-powerful Collector, you are able to extract their Essences and take them to the future with you.

When We Can Expect It

Cronos: The New Dawn is scheduled for release in 2025 on PC, Xbox Series, and PlayStation 5.
