Watch the new trailer for Mouse: P.I. For Hire, a noirish first-person shooter in the style of 30s cartoons

MOUSE: P.I. For Hire is one of the most interesting indie games to be released in 2025. The game is created in the style of the 30s and attracts the audience, because there are very few games in this setting (we can immediately recall only the first Mafia and Cuphead). The game's new gameplay was shown at Xbox Partner Preview.

Here's What We Know

Mouse: P.I. For Hire is a first-person noir shooter. The authors were inspired by classic cartoons of the 1930s. We play as a private detective travelling through a city that is plagued by chaos, gangsterism, and corruption.

To make the city better, you will have to use an arsenal of weapons, power-ups and explosives.

The new trailer shows shootouts with enemies to retro music, as well as detective elements, when you need to look for clues on the location that will lead to solving the case.

When We Can Expect It

The release of Mouse: P.I. For Hire is scheduled for release in 2025 on PC, Xbox Series, and PlayStation 5.
