OnePlus has confirmed the announcement date for OxygenOS 15

Oppo has unveiled ColorOS 15 based on Android 15 and announced plans to update older devices, including OnePlus phones in China. However, OnePlus continues to use the OxygenOS branding for global devices, and version 15 will be officially unveiled on 24 October under the slogan "Speed meets AI" (Speed meets AI).

Here's What We Know

While OnePlus hasn't revealed any details yet, the company has been working on AI features for months now, starting with the AI Eraser tool in April and ending with Gemini with the recently unveiled Gemini Live, which is a conversational version of Google's AI.

Upcoming OnePlus phones will come with the new OS out of the box. The OnePlus 13 is likely to arrive in China later this month, while the global launch could be in early 2025. A teaser video from Qualcomm revealed that the new OnePlus will use the latest Snapdragon chip, which should be unveiled as early as the other day.
