Bloober Team is willing to continue working on the Silent Hill franchise, but the decision rests with Konami
Polish studio Bloober Team surprises with the performance and pleases with the growth of its games: on the 8th of October was released the remake of the cult horror Silent Hill 2, which impressed even the most critically minded gamers, and on the 17th of October the team announced a new and quite unusual Cronos: The New Dawn.
Here's What We Know
Of course, after the successful Silent Hill 2 remake, the gamer community asked whether Konami will continue to cooperate with Bloober Team and order updated versions of other parts of the famous horror games.
Of course, neither the Poles nor the Japanese are announcing their plans yet, but Cronos: The New Dawn game director Wojciech Piejko gave an indirect answer to this question in his interview with IGN. He was asked about Bloober Team's stance on further co-operation with Konami and Piejko, although not working on Silent Hill, said that not only does not exclude this possibility, but would be happy if they were entrusted to work on remakes of other Silent Hill games.
I think we're always open. If an opportunity comes along that we like, we'll take it. There are opportunities you can't turn down. Like in Silent Hill 2, you can recreate a legend. So yes, I believe that everything is possible.
Of course, the decision rests with Konami, which owns the rights to the brand and decides which studio to entrust its projects to, but the success of Bloober Team's remake proves the feasibility of further co-operation.
