Vivo recently unveiled the X200, X200 Pro Mini and X200 Pro models in China, which are equipped with the Dimensity 9400 chipset. The X200 Ultra model is also expected to be released in the first half of 2025, which is rumoured to be equipped with the new Snapdragon 8 Elite chip. This is confirmed by the company's statement on the Weibo platform about plans to release a smartphone with this processor.
Here's What We Know
Earlier, Vivo said that it plans to release a smartphone based on the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip in the future. Recall that the current flagship X100 Ultra uses Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, so we can assume that it is the X200 Ultra that will get the new flagship chip from Qualcomm.
According to leaks, the X200 Ultra will get a 50-megapixel main camera, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera, a 50-megapixel telephoto lens and a 200-megapixel periscopic telephoto lens. Satellite connectivity support is also expected. There are no other details about the smartphone yet.
The estimated price of the device in China will be around $770. It is not yet known whether the model will be available in the global market.
