Crayon Shin-chan is one of the highest-grossing Japanese manga and anime about 5-year-old Nohara Shinnosuke (affectionate form of Shintan) and his family from Kasukabe district, Saitama prefecture in Japan. And now the game based on this story has been released outside of Japan.

Here's What We Know

The game became available in Japan in the summer, and now it has been released worldwide on Steam and eShop (Switch).

The game depicts the everyday life of the main characters who experience various events while travelling between two worlds - reality and a mysterious city.

Hiroshi, one of the characters, who suddenly finds himself on a business trip in Akita's hometown, brings his family to a quiet village near his parents. There, they rent a traditional farmhouse and enjoy the quiet country life. Under the guidance of his grandfather, Shinnosuke learns about nature and makes new friends.

One day, Shiro, covered in soot, leads Shinnosuke to a mysterious train. The train takes them to Coal City, a bustling town in the Shoua era. Shinnosuke meets a mysterious girl and sets off on a new adventure.

The game costs $30 on Steam and $40 on Switch . However, there is a 10% discount until 6 November.
