Fans of Stephen King's work and horror films based on his works will soon receive another film adaptation of the book, which in many ways made the author a recognised king of horror and an integral part of modern literature.

Here's What We Know

According to Deadline, writer and director Mike Flanagan will film a TV series based on the novel "Carrie" (Carrie) by Stephen King.

It is planned that this will be an eight-episode adaptation, which is being created on behalf of Amazon.

It should be noted that Flanagan is very familiar with King's work and "Carrie" will be his fourth adaptation of the books of the world-famous author. Earlier he directed "Gerald's Game", "Dr Sleep" and "The Life of Chuck".

Recall, the book was published in 1974 and tells about the difficult life of a teenage girl Carrie, who is terrorised by classmates and oppressive mother.

This will not be the first film adaptation of this novel, but perhaps Mike Flanagan's work will be the best version.
