Samsung Galaxy A53 receives important security update in Europe for October 2024

Samsung has released a security update for the Galaxy A53, which is now available in Europe.

Here's What We Know

The new firmware, version A536BXXSCEXIA, contains important security fixes that address more than 40 vulnerabilities found in previous versions of the software. However, the update does not bring any new features to this mid-range smartphone.

Galaxy A53 users in Europe can check for the update by going to Settings, selecting Software Update and pressing Download & Install.

The Galaxy A53 was launched in early 2022 with Android 12. The update to Android 13 became available at the end of the same year, and Android 14 at the end of 2023. Android 15 is expected to be released early next year.
