Noting his experience on the Everything Electric Show podcast, Farley said: "We flew from Shanghai to Chicago, and I've been driving it for six months. I don't want to give it up."
Xiaomi, known for its success in the smartphone space, began producing electric vehicles in 2021. The SU7, released this year, is the company's first model available for around $30,000. Despite its price, it offers many modern features such as air suspension and adaptive shock absorbers.
The SU7's popularity in China is surprising: all of the cars planned for 2024 sold out on the first day, and the company announced pre-orders for 100,000 units.
