It's official: Capcom will release physical editions of Resident Evil 2, 3, and 7 for PlayStation 5

A few days ago it was reported online that Capcom is preparing physical editions of Resident Evil 7: Biohazard and remakes of Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3 for PlayStation 5.

Then it was information from Australian shop JB Hi-Fi and finally the developer made an official announcement.

Here's What We Know

Capcom has confirmed the release of a disc edition of the three famous horror games. They will go on sale on the 6th of December in Europe, Asia, Australia and New Zealand, and in January 2025 will be available in North America.

The cost of the disc will be $ 30.

Recall, Capcom released native versions of Resident Evil 2,3 and 7 back in 2022 and in them the developers offered:

• improved graphics and visual effects;
• ray tracing;
• improved loading speed;
• improved performance;
• support for all DualSense features.
