It's time for King Xerxes: the developers of Sid Meier's Civilisation VII historical 4X-strategy introduced the next national leader
Firaxis Games continues to present the national leaders available in Sid Meier's Civilisation VII historical 4X-strategy.
The public has already been introduced to the first female pharaoh Hatshepsut, the founder of the Roman Empire Octavian Augustus, the great Chinese philosopher Confucius, the Native American leader Tecumseh, the leader of Vietnam Trung Trac and the ruler of India Ashoka.
Here's What We Know
This time gamers were introduced to Xerxes, the legendary Persian king.
In the game for Xerxes you can wage wars of conquest to expand borders and increase wealth, but the developer also offers the opportunity to focus on cultural development and establishing trade relations with other countries.
Xerxes' unique ability, the Crusher of Rebellions, increases the combat power of his troops when attacking neutral or enemy territories. The player receives Culture and Gold for every first settlement captured, as well as bonus Gold in any settlements, especially those not founded by Xerxes.
When We Can Expect It
Sid Meier's Civilisation VII will be released on 11 February on PC, PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch
